About The Show

Brian Jones, founder and original leader of The Rolling Stones, was perhaps most famous for his mysterious death at age 27. Jones’s lasting impact on rock ‘n roll was masked behind his sexual escapades, high profile relationships and drug induced arrests. Spanning the years 1966-1969, “Aftermath,” a drama with the actors playing live music, maps the rise and fall of a troubled genius whose legacy was overshadowed by the very band he created.

Aaron Snook Presents:

Krapp's Last Tape

Written By Samuel Beckett

Directed by Aaron Snook

July 9 - August 7, 2011

About The Show

A late evening in the future. The light from above illuminates a wearish old man at his desk: Krapp. He goes about his birthday ritual of listening to an old recording of himself and recording a new one. His last one. Written by Nobel Prize-winner Samuel Beckett, Krapp’s Last Tape is a portrait of an old artist. Beautiful, poignant, and heartbreakingly funny, it explores the light and the dark of the journey that is a man’s life. The show will run 70 minutes with no intermission.

In the first incarnation of The Ensemble Project, Aaron Snook will direct fellow ensemble member Vincent Lonergan in a stripped down and intimate production of Krapp’s Last Tape. Written by Nobel Prize-winner Samuel Beckett, Krapp’s Last Tape is a portrait of an old artist. Beautiful, poignant, and heartbreakingly funny, it explores the light and the dark of the journey that is a man’s life. The show will run under an hour with no intermission
