Buck Blue has worked with Signal Theatre Ensemble for 5 seasons. He has been involved with Lascivious Something, Successors, Princes of Waco, Motion, Aces, Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Aftermath (Remount), Aftermath, and The Ballad of the Sad Café. He has enjoyed his time with the ensemble and looks forward to continuing their journey with them. Buck is a founding member of Quest Theatre Ensemble in Chicago. Past shows include, Blue Nativity, Children of the Light, The Phantom Bride, Wizard of Oz, Hansel and Gretel, 3X3, Pinocchio, A Revue to Remember, The Drunkard, The Sword and the Stone, Little Shop of Horrors, Peoples History of the United States, Into the Woods, and Evolution/Creation. Currently he is in his eleventh year as the Technical Director/Production Manager at The Chicago Academy for the Arts, where he oversees production elements for Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Media Arts, Musical Theatre, and Theatre. He is also working on his third season at Northwestern University's Bienen School of Music. His show credits include L'incoronazione di Poppea, Bastinello & Luerezia, and The Grapes of Wrath. Buck has been contributing to Chicago theatre for 13 years. He has worked freelance for Lookingglass, The Goodman, Open Eye, About Face Theatre, Chicago Theatre for Young Audiences, Harpo Studios, and many others. He also worked as Technical Director/Production Manager for Indiana State University's Crossroads Theatre, The American Theatre Company, Quest Theatre Ensemble, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Sky Line Stage, and Chicago Theatre for Young Audiences.
