Anne Sheridan Smith - Anne is a proud member of Signal Ensemble Theatre. Her first appearance with Signal was as Abagail Adams in their production of, 1776, winning a Jeff Award for Best Musical Production. She also appeared in Signal's world-premiere of Jon Steinhagen's comedy,SUCCESSORS, as Patricia DeKoven. Other credits include: the Midwest premier of POOL, NO WATER with Vitalist Theatre, A CATERED AFFAIR (Porchlight), Mae West in DIRTY BLONDE (BoHo), Nurse Ratched in ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST (Open Eye), Yvette Pottier in MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN (Vitalist Theatre), THE GOOD SOUL OF SZECHUAN (Strawdog), Rose Stopnick u/s in CAROLINE, OR CHANGE (Court Theatre). Anne is a member of Chicago After-Dark Award winning Foiled Again, a vocal trio with Rob Lindley, Allison Bazarko and Doug Peck on piano, seen at venues such as Davenport's, Speakeasy Supper Club (Uncommon Ground), The Drake Hotel, Chicago Cultural Center, Millennium Park, Park West, Writers'Theatre, Evanston SPACE and scheduled to appear in the fall 2013 Chicago Humanities Festival. Their CD, "Foiled Again: Live" in 2009 at Evanston SPACE is available on CD Baby and iTunes. A Foiled Again holiday CD is scheduled to release in December, 2014. She will appear in Timeline Theatre's production JUNO in 2014. Anne earned her BA in Theatre Arts from Western Illinois University.
